We are growing and Downer Group needs a Site Supervisor who can hit the ground running. You will be working with a team that has been together for years and is genuinely good at what they do.
About the role
This is a casual/vacation position based in Gold Coast, QLD. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
- Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
What we’re looking for
- A positive, safety-first attitude
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
- Australian working rights
- A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $44 – $51 per hour
